The 5 Best Facial Spas in Scotland for Complexion Goals Worth Bragging About
Scottish weather and central heating can leave your skin painfully dry. And it’s a gamble to book a random high-street salon when you’re dealing with rosacea, acne, or pre-wedding nerves.
So our team researched and compared local providers nationwide, checking clinical credentials, treatment menus, and published prices. While we’ve already covered the best facial spas on the West Coast, we wanted to look right across the country.
Now, here’s where to book the best facial spas in Scotland, and which clinic suits you.
How much does a facial cost in Scotland?
A quick 30-minute express facial for a lunchtime refresh in Scotland starts at £25, while a classic hour-long bespoke facial runs £50 to £90, and high-tech lifting sessions start at £550 or more.
| Option | Typical Price |
| Mini / Express Facials (30 minutes) | £25 to £41 |
| Million Dollar Facials / Dermaplaning | £35 to £75 |
| Galvanic / Microdermabrasion / Hydrodermabrasion | £40 to £59 |
| Classic / Full Facials (50 to 60 minutes) | £50 to £90 |
| HydraFacial | £120 to £205 |
| High-Tech / Lifting (HIFU, RF Microneedling, Profhilo facials) | £200 to £550+ per session |
How We Reviewed
Clinical Safety and Qualifications: We checked who leads each clinic, looking for registered doctors, regulated healthcare staff, and approved products.
Treatment Variety and Technology: Our team compared menus to see who stocks clinical machines like HydraFacial or radiofrequency alongside hands-on massage.
Targeting Specific Skin Concerns: A generic cleanse and mask feels nice for an hour, yet it rarely shifts stubborn pigmentation or deep tension. We looked closely at how each provider tailors sessions for acne, fine lines, or puffiness.
Booking Practicalities and Value: Even a great clinic is frustrating if you can never get an evening or weekend slot that fits around work. We checked opening hours, membership options, and booking rules against what you pay on the day.
Atmosphere and Client Care: We weighed up the setting at each address so you know what kind of appointment you’re walking into.
1. Tay Medispa

Website: https://www.taymedispa.co.uk/
Address: 53-55 York Place, Perth
Contact: 01738 451 567
Hours: Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
At Tay Medispa, founder Dr Julia Langford brings over 20 years of clinical experience. Her multi-award-winning clinic uses MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved products.
That medical backing matters when you’re tackling stubborn pigmentation or fine lines, not just simple dryness.
Alongside standard facials and massage, the team runs NanoFractional skin resurfacing, radiofrequency skin tightening, and TriBella sessions, which suit skincare enthusiasts chasing clinical-grade equipment.
If you later want injectables or a non-surgical facelift, you won’t need to hunt down a second clinic.
The catch is they close on Sundays and may turn away clients who repeatedly reschedule.

When we spoke to their staff about pre-event skincare, they recommended the HydraFacial and Préime DermaFacial for a fresher look without downtime.
The Préime treatment uses radiofrequency and micro-current technology to gently plump and tighten the skin, making it a useful option before a big event.
Alongside these treatments, they offer Obagi chemical peels and microchannel facials.
However, Saturday appointments are only available every other week. Additionally, pets aren’t allowed unless they’re trained assistance dogs.

3. Cholly’s Thai Massage & Therapy

Website:https://chollys.co.uk/
Address: 5 Market Brae Steps, Inverness
Contact: 07726 470591
Hours: Monday to Sunday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Not everyone wants lasers or buzzing machines near their face, especially when stress leaves their skin looking dull and puffy.
Cholly’s Thai Massage & Therapy offers traditional Chinese Gua Sha facial therapy, which uses a smooth jade or rose quartz tool to ease muscle tension and boost circulation.
When we spoke to a client who tried the 75-minute session, they praised the extra treatment time compared with a standard hour-long spa appointment.
They apply a light facial oil before gently working across the neck, jaw, cheeks, and brow with repeated strokes to support lymphatic drainage.
However, the clinic mainly focuses on Gua Sha for facial treatments. To add, the location may be a long trip for people in southern Scotland.

4. The Source Clinic

Website:https://www.thesourceclinic.com/
Address: 20 Morningside Road, Edinburgh
Contact: 0131 447 4369
Hours:
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Wednesday to Thursday: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Skin can change with the seasons and your stress levels, so committing to a rigid course of identical treatments might waste money.
At The Source Clinic in Morningside, you can book treatments individually or join The Source Membership, a monthly programme that adapts each session to your skin’s needs and lifestyle.
For a quick refresh, the 45-minute customised Source Facial suits all skin types and won’t take up your whole afternoon.
If you want a deeper treatment for problem skin or winter dullness, the clinic combines its six-step Deluxe HydraFacial with low-level, medical-grade Deesse Pro LED (light-emitting diode) therapy to plump and rejuvenate your skin.
Plus, they stay open until 9 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so you won’t need to take time off work.
Sadly, they’re closed on Sundays and Mondays, and the Edinburgh location may be a long trip for people in northern Scotland.

Contact: 01463 549149
Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday to Sunday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Tucked inside The Palace Hotel in Inverness, Pretty Woman Spa was created by the team behind Pretty Woman Beauty Salon to combine restorative facials with a relaxing hotel retreat.
Their facial menu offers plenty of choice. You can try the Soothing Cocoon Facial to calm skin after exposure to winter weather, or choose the Skin Refining Power Peel and Collagen Plumping Expert Facial before a special event.
You can also include any 30-minute or 60-minute facial or massage in their Spa Days, except for the Lava Shell and Head to Glow massages. This makes gift vouchers easy to use.
The spa even stays open until 9 PM on weekdays, so evening treatments are easier to fit in.
However, they’re more suited to relaxation than clinical-grade skin treatments, and you’ll need to book ahead for popular times.
