To boot, this comes with one complimentary ear wax removal treatment. However, do keep in mind that if you have a more complicated ear canal or stubborn wax, you may need more than 1 visit. 

Nevertheless, the clinic offers irrigation and microsuction wax removal options, which gives patients the flexibility of choosing whichever best suits their medical needs and preferences. It’s also worth highlighting that they provide full aftercare for life!

Note that if you’re only free on the weekends, then you’ll need to look for another clinic as they’re only open on the weekdays from 9AM-5PM. This could be a definite deal breaker for those without flexible schedules.

On the bright side, their microsuction appointments only take about 30 minutes so you can definitely squeeze it in during your lunch break.

Another thing that sets this clinic apart from the others is they’re quite accessible. They have a lift which will definitely come in handy for those with mobility issues.

While QB Earcare is another stellar clinic at the heart of Edinburgh, there’s one important con that we need to get out of the way – they only offer services on Fridays. 

We know their operating hours are completely mind-boggling, but that hasn’t deterred patients from queuing at their front door every Friday! 

This is because of their HCPC-registered practitioner, Dr. Andrew Quinn who opened the practice in 2022. 

While still a relatively young clinic, Dr. Quinn has 16 years of experience up his sleeve, offering 3 kinds of ear wax removal methods – irrigation, microsuction, and via instruments.

You’ll be glad to know that their prices are one of the most economical on this list, charging £45 for one ear, £55 for two, for any service. 

If you’re all set, you can easily book an appointment via their website. Keep in mind that if you need to cancel or reschedule, all you need to do is call their office. 

Remember that they’re only open on Fridays, so getting an appointment can be tricky sometimes. Having said that, be sure to book early!

If you ask us for just one thing we like most about Fairfield Hearing, it would surely be their accessibility. Despite only being open from Mondays to Fridays at 10AM to 4PM, they make an effort to accommodate appointments outside of these hours.

Which means that they’re a great option for those with hectic schedules and just can’t seem to squeeze in an appointment. 

Their accessibility doesn’t end there; they offer full domiciliary services, too! This will definitely be a lifesaver for those with mobility issues as you can have your ears checked and treatment done from the comforts of home.
