Hiking up to the Cobbler is not that hard since it’s classified as a ‘Corbett’, which means it’s not as high as a ‘Munro’ in the Scottish mountain lingo. Generally, it’s about 7 miles there and back on the standard route, and the path is pretty straightforward.
It’s not a stroll on the beach, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not climbing Mount Everest either. But, as always with hiking, the weather’s the wild card.
