Pros
- 2015 Wedding Florist of the Year
- Offers unique arrangements for Christmas and Valentines Day
- Has a wide range of receptacle options
Cons
- A bit pricier compared to the others
- Non-delivery issues
Even though they’ve only been around for seven years, Forget Me Not Florist has become one of the best flower delivery services in Dundee. This is evident when they won Wedding Florist of the Year last 2015.
This shop offers unique arrangements for special holidays such as Christmas and Valentines Day.
They also offer a wide range of receptacle options such as container arrangements, vase arrangements, gift wrapped, hatboxes, and baskets.
In terms of pricing, we found that Forget Me Not Florist is a bit pricier than other flower delivery services. For instance, their least expensive posy arrangement costs £50.00 while we found a more affordable posy arrangement elsewhere at £25.00-£30.00.
There were also isolated reports of flowers not being delivered as planned.
For instance, one customer ordered a flower arrangement for her friend’s birthday, but it was not sent on time. Even though they issued a refund and sent it the following day, it did not mean as much since the friend’s birthday already passed.
However, if you are willing to overlook these isolated cases and the slightly heftier price tags, then Forget Me Not Florist is the place to go if you want to choose from breathtaking flower arrangement options.

Pros
- Established shop that opened 35 years ago
- Offers custom arrangements
- Wide variety of payment options
- Has plastic-free options
Cons
- Questionable quality of flowers
- Delivery issues
The Rosebud is a well-established family business opened by Aline Milne in 1986. Today, this flower delivery business is operated by her daughter, Dilly Milne-Van Boeckel.
This lovely shop offers custom arrangements, from flowers cleverly arranged to form a lion, to the Scottish flag and even flowers that spell out the letters in ‘Mum.’
They also have a wide variety of payment options, which we appreciate. Not only do they accept Visa, Mastercard, and Paypal – they also accept cash, cheque, Maestro, and American Express.
Additionally, to promote sustainability, they encourage customers to choose from their plastic-free options in order to help the environment. Customers can opt for compostable, recyclable, biodegradable and reusable items, which is nice.
On the flipside, some customers apparently received low-quality flowers. For instance, one stated that the lilies he received did not open at all, and the white roses only bloomed for a couple of days.
Despite these drawbacks, The Rosebud is still a fantastic option for your flower delivery needs if you are in need of custom arrangements, want to support a family business, or want to promote sustainability.

Pros
- Competitive prices
- Provides same-day delivery
- Has 15 occasions to choose from on their website
Cons
- Rude staff
- Limited payment options
Another family owned business is the shop, Impulse Flowers Dundee. It is currently run by Diane, who has an impressive total of 23 years’ experience in the industry.
First off, the pricing of their flowers is quite competitive. For instance, they sell a large dozen of roses for £50 compared to The Rosebud’s dozen which costs £75.
For orders placed before 2PM, Impulse Flowers Dundee also provides same day delivery. This even includes national and international delivery through direct2florist.
When you go to their website, you would see a long list of occasions to choose from. They seem to have everything, from the standard funeral tributes and birthdays to the more specific such as Sorry, Easter Flowers, New Baby, and Get Well.
That said, it seems the professionalism of their staff needs to be improved. A customer apparently experienced some rude behaviour from the in-store staff, causing him to go to another flower delivery shop.
They also have limited payment options which only include Visa, Mastercard, and Paypal. Those who carry Maestro or American Express would not be able to order.
Aside from these minor inconveniences, their customers, in general, seem quite happy with their products and services. So, we think they’re still worth a try.

Pros
- UK’s leading flower delivery app
- Invented letterbox flowers
- Has various discounts/promos
- Environmentally conscious
- Gives to charity
Cons
- Late delivery issues
- Reports of delivery instructions not being followed
Bloom & Wild is known for inventing letterbox flowers: flowers placed in a box that can fit perfectly in the letterbox of the recipient. They also are the UK’s leading flower delivery app.
This Dundee flower delivery service has several discounts and promos available. For instance, they have a No Waste Sale wherein customers can save 20% on selected flowers until Sunday.
We love their admirable environmental efforts. For instance, their letterbox packaging is now 100% compostable and recyclable, and over 70% of their deliveries are now by foot, bike, or electric van.
Not only are they environmentally-friendly, they also give to charity which is quite impressive.
For example, every time someone buys the Florist’s Pick, they’ll donate 15% of the profit to Carers Trust. This amazing charity gives resources, support, and respite breaks to carers.
Several satisfied customers also commented on the amazing quality of their flowers. They can even deliver small trees in great condition!
Of course, this shop is not perfect. In fact, it has received numerous complaints regarding late deliveries.
Also, the delivery instructions of some customers are apparently not being followed.
Apparently, a customer who ordered the letterbox option was disappointed when he found out that the delivery person did not actually put it through the customer’s letterbox.
While these may seem terribly minute to most, these details mean something to both the sender and recipient.
Despite these mishaps, it can be said that Bloom & Wild is still one of the top delivery services in Dundee due to their eco-friendly & philanthropic efforts and attractive promos.

Pros
- Fourth-generation family business
- Handcrafted one-of-a-kind designs
- Accepts all major debit and credit cards
Cons
- Reports of subpar customer service
- Costly arrangements
Established in 1935, Williamson Design Florist is a fourth-generation family business delivering flowers locally in Scotland, across the UK, and worldwide.
They pride themselves on each flower arrangement being individually crafted by hand, making each design one-of-a-kind.
Some gorgeous arrangements we’ve spotted include individually arranged table centres, winter crafted gift boxes, and even flowers cleverly embedded in pillows and cushions.
Williamson Design Florist also accepts all major debit and credit cards, which adds to the convenience of the customers.
Sadly, they have had several complaints regarding their appalling customer service.
One example was an order for a funeral wreath which, upon arrival, was incredibly sparse with some withered flowers. They were not issued a refund or even offered an apology as Jim, the manager, apparently did not seem to care about the issue.
Another area that you need to be aware of is their pricing, which seems to be on the costlier side compared to other flower delivery services.
For example, a classic posy arrangement would cost you a whopping £50-£60 while a simple spray arrangement costs around £55-£155.
Still, if you don’t mind these drawbacks, it is still worth it to have one-of-a-kind arrangements from one of the oldest flower delivery shops in Dundee.
