Pros
- Offers animal chiropractic (dogs only)
- Starts each session with a series of diagnostic tests
- Award-winning clinic
- Has many regular patients
Cons
- Varying practice hours
- No online booking system
- No pricing information available
Unique to Southside Chiropractic is that, aside from humans, they also welcome dogs to receive chiropractic care. We were pleasantly surprised by this, and think this service will definitely benefit owners who love to spoil their little pooch.
Since suffering from back pain at an early age, owner and founder Dara took up her master’s degree in Chiropractic and went as far as to study Animal Chiropractic in Germany. We believe her personal experience with pain helps her serve her own patients from a place of empathy.
We were impressed to know that this award-winning clinic starts each session with a postural analysis to see how patients’ balance is affecting spinal wear and tear, electromyography (SEMG) scans to measure patients’ muscle tension, and an HRV scan to measure heart rate.
Doing these each session helps them accurately assess what they’re working with and track patients’ progress each succeeding session.
On top of this, the fact that many of Dara’s patients are regulars definitely left a positive impression on us. This shows how much her patients have found long-term relief in her services.
As for appointment setting, we were a tad disappointed that they didn’t have an online booking system on their website. So, you can only schedule via phone or email.
It’s important to keep in mind that Dara’s practice hours are different from her office hours. So, we suggest double-checking before scheduling an appointment.
We also weren’t too pleased to find that they didn’t have any information on their prices. Having this readily available could have given potential clients a better idea of the cost of her services.

Pros
- Multi-award-winning clinic
- Recognized by private health insurers
- Mid-sized team
- Full members of the British and Scottish Chiropractic Associations
- Registered with the General Chiropractic Council
- Free initial consultation
Cons
- No online booking system
- Pricing information not available
- Limited information on securing insurance claims
Established in 1997, Bearsden Chiropractic Clinic has a wealth of experience in diagnosing, treating, and preventing issues of the muscle, joint, and nerve, as well as muscle pain, among others.
They’re also full members of the British and Scottish Chiropractic Associations and registered with the General Chiropractic Council. So, clients are assured that their chiropractors and practices are regulated by the necessary governing bodies.
Team-wise, we like that they have a mid-sized team. We find that this allows them to see more patients daily, especially since they’re only a few minutes away from the busy Glasgow City Center and nearby transport links.
They’re also capable of addressing specific conditions such as cervicogenic headaches and migraines which is great to know, especially for patients seeking chiropractors with experience with these.
For health insurance holders, it’s worth noting that they’re recognized by PP, BUPA, and other private health insurers. We were just a tad disappointed that they don’t have information regarding availing claims on their website, so you’ll have to personally enquire.
Another con would be that they don’t have any pricing information readily available either. Instead, they invite clients for a free consultation first, then provide a quote afterward.
We were also a bit sad that they don’t have an online booking system for clients to schedule appointments independently. They’ll have to get in touch via phone, email, or the website’s contact form and wait for a response.

Pros
- Pricing information available
- Online booking available
- Can treat the entire body
- 70+ years of industry experience
- Clients can choose their preferred practitioner
Cons
- No slots open for Wednesdays and Fridays
Cram Osteopath is a family-run business that has been serving the Glasgow community since 1946. So, it’s no surprise that they’re a frequented clinic by many locals for their wealth of experience.
Aside from that, we like their hands-on approach to healthcare. Patients that we’ve contacted lauded their effective treatments that were executed with precision and ease.
That said, we were happy that a large part of their client base are patients who are regulars at the clinic. To us, this definitely speaks volumes about how their patients are content with the service here.
Speaking of, we also found it impressive that they don’t just deal with spine and muscle issues, but the rest of the body as well. This is because their practitioners aren’t just chiropractors, but osteopaths.
It’s also great that they have their prices up on their website with a brief description of its inclusions. Since most clinics don’t have this readily available, we appreciate the transparency.
Booking an appointment is quite simple since they have an online booking system available on their website. Simply fill in a few details and you’re good to go.
What we like most about their booking system is that patients can also select their practitioner of choice. We find that this gives them a lot of freedom to follow their preferences.
However, their bookings can fill up a tad quickly, especially since they don’t have any slots open for Wednesdays and Fridays.

Pros
- Same-day appointments available
- Pricing information available
- Online booking available
- Recognised by private health insurers
Cons
- Can be hard to book during peak seasons
- Limited information on securing insurance claims
ChiroPro Active is currently run by two chiropractors that have a ton of theoretical and experiential knowledge to back them up.
While we were a tad iffy about their two-man team, the heaps of praises from their patients convinced us otherwise.
In particular, we appreciate their holistic approach to personalised treatment, which has their professionals delving deeper into each patient’s’ medical history and lifestyle to determine the best treatment approach.
Also, their cosy team hasn’t hindered them from seeing multiple patients daily, each making significant progress in such reasonable timeframes. So, it’s no wonder why many of their patients are returnees.
It’s great that aside from treating patients inside the clinic, they teach them at-home exercises and stretches, too. To us, this shows that the chiropractors here truly care about the well-being of their patients.
We like that clients can conveniently book online via their website. To boot, they can book same-day appointments, too, but we strongly suggest booking in advance to ensure accommodation.
We also appreciate that their prices are accessible on their website. This gives clients a ballpark figure of how much they’re expected to pay for these services.
However, it’s a tad disappointing that while they’re recognised by major private health insurers, there’s little information available on how patients can get their claims.

Pros
- Exceptional staff expertise
- Efficient appointment scheduling
- High-quality care
- Comfortable atmosphere
Cons
- No promos at the present
We recently had the pleasure of experiencing the services of Clarkston Chiropractic, and we must say, it was quite the spine-tingling experience. From start to finish, our encounter with this chiropractic gem left us feeling revitalized and with a lighter wallet.
When it comes to service, Clarkston Chiropractic doesn’t disappoint. They welcomed us with open arms, although not quite literally. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was as calming as a Bach concerto, making us feel right at home in our quest for spinal salvation.
Efficiency is the name of the game, and Clarkston Chiropractic plays it exceptionally well. No endless waiting rooms and outdated magazines here. Our appointments were a prompt affair, with minimal time spent twiddling our thumbs. We appreciate a business that values our time, almost as much as they value our money.
Quality is non-negotiable in the chiropractic world, and Clarkston Chiropractic certainly knows how to deliver. Their team of professionals managed to unravel the knots in our backs with the grace of a world-class violinist. We left with spines straighter than a die-hard rule follower, and a newfound appreciation for the art of spinal manipulation.
However, they don’t offer discounts at the present. We suggest checking their website for other affordable deals.

Pros
- Registered with the General Chiropractic Council
- Chiropractors are either members of the British or Scottish Chiropractic Associations
- Specialises in work-related conditions, postural problems, and sports injuries
- Holds clinic one Saturday every month
- Pricing information available
Cons
- Limited information on securing insurance claims
What we liked the most about Battlefield Chiropractic is that its founder, Ben Chambers, is a registered chiropractor that specialises in work-related conditions, postural problems, and sports injuries.
To us, this brings a tonne of confidence, knowing that Chambers has plentiful knowledge regarding these issues and has experience treating these in numerous clients.
He, along with all the chiropractors in his clinic, is registered with the General Chiropractic Council. Apart from that, they’re members of either the British or Scottish Chiropractic Associations.
So, clients can be at ease knowing that the professionals and techniques here are regulated and approved by the necessary regulatory bodies.
We also took a strong liking to their treatment method as they incorporate modern rehabilitation techniques into their chiropractic treatments. So, clients aren’t just alleviated from pain, but also get stronger after each session.
To book an appointment, potential clients can fill up a booking form with their preferred schedule.
Speaking of schedule, while they’re primarily open during weekdays only, they do hold clinics at least one Saturday every month for individual arranged appointments. We find this very convenient for clients who are only free during weekends.
But here’s the hitch: there’s barely any information health insurance claims. So, insurance holders will need to phone in to see if their insurance is recognised.
