That said, we like the assurance this gives clients since their installers are trained according to the manufacturer’s standards. To boot, all installations come with a full guarantee, so clients should expect high-quality workmanship. 

It’s great that they have a spacious showroom that clients can visit. Clients can also take home several of their samples to colour match.

We like that they provide a free no-obligation quote on top of a home or workplace estimating service. This way, all advice given to clients is based on proper measurements and thorough consultation. 

Aside from being open 6 days a week, they can also arrange out-of-hours work to suit the client’s availability. We think this is extra convenient for businesses that want the job done while customers aren’t around.

However, we were saddened to hear a few complaints about poor customer service. So, we hope their management addresses this soon to avoid further mishaps.

Hence, if you’re on the hunt for many options, it’s worth noting that First Floors has 4,500 sq ft of showroom space to showcase its extensive range of flooring products.

If clients can’t make it to their Glasgow showroom, they can conveniently opt for a virtual tour instead. 

We like that they carry a wide selection of brands such as Brintons, Moduleo, Amtico, Alternative Flooring, Quick-Step, and Brockway, to name a few. Clients can also choose from various floor types, from wood to carpet.

It’s great that they provide home flooring consultations with one of their experts for no additional fee. This way, clients can get professional advice based on their living situation, which we think will come in handy, especially for homes with children or pets.

Aside from that, they’re fully equipped to perform floor fittings thanks to their professional floor fitters. So, you could say they’re quite the package.

Unfortunately, a few clients had poor experiences with their installation services. So, we think their management might need to require more training for their staff.

Additionally, they offer a free no-obligation measuring and quotation service. In our opinion, it’s reassuring that they provide clients with all the necessary information to make an informed decision. 

As for their flooring choices, it’s worth highlighting that they specialise in Amtico, Karndean, and Moduleo flooring. This means they get the most recent showroom facilities and a comprehensive design and sampling service. 

We think this is going to be a treat for extra discerning clients.

On top of that, it’s great that their installation team is manufacturer-trained. Hence, it’s expected that the results from their service are up to the manufacturer’s standards.

However, there was a hole in this seemingly perfect experience. We were disappointed to hear that a few of their past clients had subpar experiences with their installation services. 

Hence, we think that their management may need to re-train their installation team. 

To make up for it, they offer full guarantees for their installation services. In our opinion, this brings in confidence that clients are protected should something go wrong during their installation. 

What we like best about Floor Fitters is their team’s dedication to quality workmanship. We like that they won’t just install floors but ensure that the clients’ floors are prepped to the highest standard first.

Hence, it didn’t come as a surprise to us that many of their clients had nothing but praises for their high-quality work and excellent customer service.

Speaking of, we like that their fitters are trained to perform installations for both domestic and commercial floors. Past clients can vouch for their great attention to detail, ensuring every corner is properly installed.

Their fitters can install laminate flooring, engineered wood, and vinyl flooring, among others. Aside from that, they can also perform the removal and refitting of board trimmings. 

We were also happy to see that they provide a 1-year fitting guarantee on selected products. Hence, if things don’t go according to plan, clients can easily have them fix their errors without shelling out any money.

However, they don’t supply any flooring materials. This means that clients will have to source their flooring elsewhere. 

In our opinion, this is quite an inconvenience as clients will have to purchase from a third-party retailer that isn’t associated with Floor Fitters.

What we love about The Wooden Flore Store is its ginormous selection of flooring options. This multi-awarded company carries a variety of laminate, wood, waterproof, and herringbone flooring manufacturers.

These include Balento, Causeway, Quiet Walk, Euro Floor, Kahrs, and Villeroy & Boch, to name a few. It’s great that they’re authorised retailers from the manufacturers, so clients are assured of high-quality products.

Another unique feature that this company has is that they use state-of-the-art visualisation technologies to help clients visualise their floors in clients’ spaces. Using their V-Tool, clients can upload a photo or use their virtual reality function to try out products in their homes.

In our opinion, this is a great way to match colours and styles. However, if clients prefer the old-fashioned way, they can also take home some samples. 

We think it’s extra convenient that they offer same-day deliveries, too. Aside from that, they provide free quotations along with fitter recommendations. 

With that said, it’s important to note that they only offer supply services. Hence, clients will have to enlist the services of a third-party installer for the labour. 

On the bright side, they offer discounted products, which makes them worth checking out if you’re on the hunt for good deals.
