Pros
- Accessible to all members 24 hours daily
- Variety of large event spaces
- Boasts 11 floors of shared working spaces
- Wide selection of membership plans
- Reasonably-priced
Cons
- Doesn’t offer free drinks
We think Clockwise’s strongest suit is that it’s accessible 24 hours daily to all its members regardless of their type of membership plan. To us, this level of inclusivity definitely deserves additional points.
Another strong pro would be that it’s a whole building dedicated to productivity. By this, we mean that this refurbished 1970s highrise has 11 floors full of meeting rooms, hotdesks, and shared workspaces.
We think this gives customers plenty of room to spread out and have their own dedicated spaces.
Did we mention that some of their conference rooms can fit up to 80 attendees? We like how flexible their spaces are and that they’re large enough to hold events, too.
If customers are a bit burnt out, they even have a terrace to go to for some fresh air. There’s also a breakout room, kitchenette, and club lounges for relaxing.
As for their membership plans, we appreciate the wise selection suitable for almost any budget. We think that their day pass is quite reasonably-priced starting at £15, while a monthly dedicated desk costs £175.
The only flaw that we’ve seen so far is that they don’t offer complimentary drinks, unlike other coworking spaces. While this isn’t a deal-breaker for us, free coffee won’t hurt.

Pros
- Free trial day
- Convenient booking methods
- Free drinks and snacks
- Local phone number, mail forwarding service, and registered mailing address for all members
Cons
- Limited use of collaboration rooms
- Closed by 6 PM
- Closed on weekends
What sets Collabor8te apart from the other entries on this list is that it probably has the widest range of members from small businesses and teams to remote workers and also freelancers.
Regardless of membership plan type, members get a local phone number, mail forwarding service, and registered mailing address to use.
Since these features are usually add-ons for most coworking spaces, we definitely found this worth highlighting.
Unique to Collabor8te is that they don’t have the usual daily, weekly, or monthly passes. Instead, they have hourly and unlimited passes, which mean customers only pay for what they consume.
We find this to be a quirky cost-effective way for clients to get their money’s worth. The first 18 hours at £50, while their unlimited pass costs £225. You will have access to a desk and meeting rooms at no extra cost and the use of address, plus the phone number.
They have only one ‘Collaboration Room’ – a 10-seater room with a huge screen, sound and whiteboard. Hiring this type of room elsewhere would cost you around £300 a day.
However, with them, they give it for free for most of their memberships, on top of the free access they already get to their other 8 meeting rooms!
To add, we love that they offer free drinks, snacks, and even free breakfast.
Unfortunately, they’re only open during the weekdays and until 6 PM only. We find this to be quite a bummer, especially for night owls.

Pros
- Members can access the space at weekends too
- Has a strong creative community
- Has on-site parking and communal pool bikes
- Reasonably-priced
- Dog-friendly
- All members get a business address
Cons
- May be pricey for some
What’s special about The Distillery is that it’s most popular among creatives. In particular, most of its members are freelancers or start-ups in photography, digital art, cultural production, and videography among others.
Hence, we think it’s a great choice for individuals in the creative scene who want to be part of a collaborative social hub with like-minded individuals.
As for their coworking space, they have virtually all the essentials such as tables, Internet, a shared kitchen, bookable meeting rooms, and printing facilities.
To boot, members also get a business address which comes with all of their membership plans. This definitely deserves a plus as this is often only included in more expensive membership subscriptions.
It’s convenient that they have on-site parking, a bike shelter, and even communal pool bikes for easy transportation.
Membership is quite straightforward, though you’d have to enquire directly with them for details.
Also, we like that their fees are quite reasonably-priced. Their hotdesk starts at £20 for daily use and £100 for monthly use, while a fixed desk sets you back a bit at £175 monthly.
Did we mention that they welcome well-behaved dogs, too? We found this a tad quirky (in a good way!) since most coworking spaces don’t allow pets.

Pros
- Large working space
- Has on-site parking and charging stations for electric cars
- Offers a business address
- Open daily until late
Cons
- No pricing information available
What’s cool about the Glasgow Collective is that it’s comprised of 4 adjoining buildings that have been turned into a massive coworking space. Currently, it houses over 36 small to medium-sized businesses, with enough room to accommodate more.
We think it’s an interesting spot to go about your work because of the vibrant community, with members representing various industries. Most come from the fields of media, marketing, charities, food production, and film.
We like that their layout was designed with a purpose. They have dozens of meeting rooms, soundproof pods for taking calls, office spaces, and desks among others.
They currently offer full-time and part-time hotdesks and dedicated desks. To boot, they offer a business address and personal storage, too.
They don’t have any pricing information readily available on their website which is a bit of a turn-off, especially for interested clients. It’s also a wee troublesome to have to phone in to inquire about these details.
On the bright side, we like that they’re open daily from 7:30 AM until as late as 11 PM. So, members can pop in at nearly any time that they please.
It’s also quite convenient that they offer on-site parking and even have a charging station for electric vehicles. We found this impressive since it’s not every day that you find a coworking space that can charge your Tesla.
5. Ninja Unicorn

Pros
- Open 24/7
- Dog-friendly
- Large desk space
- Attentive and friendly managers
Cons
- No pricing information available
We think that Ninja Unicorn’s most impressive feature would be that it’s open 24/7 for all its members regardless of the kind of membership plan they’re subscribed to.
This is quite a reasonable trade-off to compensate for their limited space. To be specific, they only have 2 floors worth of shared workspaces and limited hot desks available.
Hence, customers may experience difficulty securing a table, especially since they’re quite popular among many self-employed individuals and freelancers.
Even so, we’ve heard lots of good things from customers that appreciate the large desk space, as well as the welcoming and cosy atmosphere.
Clients we’ve talked to also shared their appreciation for their attentive staff who ensure that everyone’s looked after. We think this definitely adds a lot of charm to the place as many return for the A+ customer service.
We were just quite iffy about the simplicity of their amenities. In particular, they only offer the bare necessities which include a reliable Internet connection, basic printing, and kitchen facilities.
So, they may be more palatable for individuals looking for a straightforward coworking space without unnecessary add-ons.
Disappointingly, they don’t have their pricing information readily available. So, those interested clients will have to reach out via phone or email to inquire about their rates.
On a brighter note, they’re dog-friendly, so pet owners can bring their well-behaved pooches with them, too.
