What we like most about PolBuilt is that they basically cover all building trades under one roof, such as plasterers, joiners, painters, bathroom fitters, and full house renovations. And this can go beyond just simple construction services, and you won’t have to look for other providers. 

From what we’ve gathered, they’ve worked with shops and offices to more residential projects like bathroom renovations or tile work. They can tackle projects on any scale, which is great if you have an unusual scope or incremental work. 

We also appreciate that they take the weight off your shoulders since they can handle everything from design to consultation to finishing touches. They do so by keeping you in the loop and maintaining reliable communication, which many clients have praised them for.

They do, of course, have days off, so they’re closed on weekends. Still, we can’t deny that their project management and reputation for always sticking to the schedule make it a minor concern.

Getting Graceland Construction to take care of your project means you don’t have to hire multiple contractors to do specific parts. They cover all trades like structural work, plumbing, plastering, and full renovations, which is great for quality control and cohesion. 

We’re also impressed that they can navigate through complex projects without a hitch. They have skilled experts who can execute structural alterations, demolitions, and even Victorian renovations successfully—a game-changer for older properties.

It’s also worth mentioning that they have a dedicated team for the roofing and exterior division, working on roofs, Velux windows, dormers, and attic conversions.

While it’s nice that they visit the site to take a look after inquiring, just note that they’re closed on weekends. So, you’ll have to take some time off if you have a busy schedule.

Nonetheless, they’re a reliable choice for home renovations and improvements, especially since they provide waste management and cleaning services.

The unique thing (at least, among the others on this list) about Certus Building Contractors Ltd is that they’re upfront and put emphasis on design-assisted builds. They work closely with architects and pay close attention to the design process to make sure everything matches your vision.

With that kind of precision and attention to detail, we’re glad that they work on flexible project scales—be it small renovations or structural reconstructions. You won’t have to worry about them turning down a request, even though it’s something fairly small.

On the flipside, even though they work with larger projects, they don’t focus on commercial builds—residential homes are more of their forte.  So, you’ll probably need to look elsewhere if you’re a business owner looking to remodel a shop.

Regardless, they’ve earned themselves a ton of good feedback from homeowners, specifically praising them for their reliability, workmanship, and excellent cleanup.

AMR Building Contractors is a good contractor to have on speed-dial for homeowners, especially since they do foundation, structural work, finishing, joinery, and more. You won’t need to juggle multiple providers for every aspect of your project.

One thing that stood out to us is how they partner with architects and also offer bespoke joinery—great if you have something specific in mind.

And it helps that they handle projects whether they’re big or small. In fact, we noticed that many clients reach out to them even if it’s just for simple maintenance or minor refurbishments, which shows how they don’t turn down clients regardless of scale. 

But we do think it’s a bummer that they don’t work on commercial requests that much. If you’re looking to renovate a restaurant or an office, then they might not be the best choice.

Even so, kudos to them for being incredibly available and responsive to both new and existing clients. The clients even shared how it gives them peace of mind that their project is going well as planned.

Just a heads-up, though; their rates and quotes can be slightly pricier than others, but many say that the investment is worth it. And it helps that their process is transparent, so there won’t be any surprises, even though the final bill is a bit high—everything is accounted for.
