Top 5 T-Shirt Printing Shops in Glasgow for Fast Turnaround and Great Results

  • Printing method – We focused on companies that offer a range of reliable printing methods and use the right one based on design complexity, order size, and fabric.
  • Print quality – We prioritised shops those known for consistent colour accuracy, fine detail, and prints that hold up well after washing.
  • T-shirt quality – We selected shops that use quality garments from trusted brands and offer various fabric blends, weights, and styles to meet preferences and purposes.
  • Turnaround and scheduling – We chose those that consistently meet deadlines, communicate clearly about lead times, and deliver on what they promise.
  • Design support – We included companies that help clients refine or finalise their designs.
  • Customer service – We took into account how they handle enquiries, solve problems, and communicate throughout the order process.
  • Price – We looked for a fair balance between cost and quality, with no unexpected fees or consulting quotes.

Our company just had its mid-year conference party, and each department had to create its own custom T-shirt with a fun, themed design. Lucky me (well, unlucky, actually), I ended up on a two-person team in charge of making it happen.

Now, tell me why everyone and their mothers suddenly needed printed tees (was our design that special?). Well, we had to get it done—and fast! It took us a while to track down a decent shop, but we finally found one after tons of research, asking for referrals, and making calls.

To save you the hassle when your time comes, whether you need a single shirt, a group kit, a family reunion set, or corporate gear, we’ve reviewed the best T-shirt printing shops in Glasgow.

ORIGINAL-T uses direct-to-garment printing that’s made for full-colour artwork, which makes it great if your design has fine detail, fades, or photo-style graphics.

What we like most is their no-minimum policy. Whether you’re printing one tee for a gift or 40 for an event, you’ll get the same quality and care. And if you’re ordering in bulk, the discounts make a difference; they don’t just shave off pennies.

You can also pick from their decent range of garments, bring your own, or use their online designer to add logos, images, or text. It’s pretty beginner-friendly even if you’re not a designer.

Turnaround is surprisingly quick, too—most jobs are wrapped up in just 2 to 10 working days, which is handy if you’re under time pressure.

Just a heads-up, though: they stick to DTG. So, if you’re after embroidery or large-scale screen printing, this might not be your shop.

Nonetheless, for personalised, colourful tees without minimum orders, ORIGINAL-T is a top contender.

Pros

  • Great for detailed designs
  • No minimum order required
  • Has a wide range of garments
  • Quick turnaround time

Cons

  • Closed on weekends
  • Limited to DTG

Teeshirtnation caught our attention for offering a wide variety of print methods all under one roof, such as vinyl, digital, screen printing, DTG, and embroidery. This mix means you don’t have to deal with multiple suppliers if your order calls for different styles or stitched details.

Shirt-wise, they stick with Gildan’s 100% cotton tees, known for being soft, durable, and easy to work with, so your designs get a good base. Plus, there’s no minimum order needed, which works well whether you’re after a single custom piece or a full team kit.

They also go beyond shirts, printing badges, mugs, bags, stickers, mousemats, and even drumskins. It’s a neat one-stop shop if you’re pulling together merchandise for an event.

The catch? Pricing can be a bit higher, especially on smaller orders, and they don’t operate at weekends. On the bright side, their promise of satisfaction or a refund on faulty products adds a layer of confidence when you’re placing a customer order.

Pros

  • Wide variety of print methods
  • Uses quality material for shirts
  • No minimum order required
  • Prints other things
  • Provide satisfaction guarantee

Cons

  • Closed on weekends
  • Slightly pricier than others

Quality is top-notch

Bar One Clothing has a fully in-house setup, offering screen printing (including discharge and plastic-friendly methods), embroidery, and both vinyl and digital transfers.

We also noticed that they’ll source the garments, take care of branding, pack everything up, and even ship internationally. It’s a full-circle operation, which is especially handy if you’re ordering in bulk or running an event.

Shoutout to their in-house graphic team, too. They translate your rough idea into digital layouts, advise on formats, and even guide embroidery specs like stitch count.

It also helps that they stock a broad range of garments, from budget basics like Fruit of the Loom to eco-minded lines like Stanley/Stella and heavyweight styles.

One thing to flag: this isn’t a walk-in, print-a-shirt-while-you-wait type of place. They focus on pre-booked, prepaid B2B jobs, which might not suit someone needing a casual one-off tee.

Still, with names like BBC, Sony, and T in the Park on their client list, it’s clear they know how to deliver quality on a large scale and make it look good while they’re at it.

Pros

  • Uses multiple print methods
  • Comprehensive services and logistics
  • Has an in-house graphic designer
  • Has a broad range of garments

Cons

  • Focuses on pre-booked projects (B2B jobs)
  • Closed on weekends

Delivery was super quick

“Fabulous online store, delivery was super quick and prices are the best we’ve found so far, brilliant quality, thank you so much”

Tucked inside The Forge Shopping Centre in Parkhead, Forge Colour Print is a convenient stop if you like handling things in person. Walk in with your tee ideas, chat through the design, and you’re good to go.

They’ll print on all sorts of apparel, like T-shirts, hoodies, sashes, jumpers, and they keep it simple with iron-on style customisation.

Being around for over 20 years says a lot, and most locals seem to vouch for their work. The customers we spoke to mentioned that the staff work fast, even on short notice.

Another plus: they’re flexible on pickup or delivery. Locals can just swing by, and for folks further out in the UK, they’ll post your order.

There are some hiccups, though; they’re not always equipped to handle large bulk orders, and they’ve had to turn down a few due to staff availability. So if you’ve got a bigger job in mind, it’s best to call ahead.

Regardless, for quick jobs, one-offs, or a handful of tees, Forge Colour Print is worth considering.

Pros

  • Available seven days a week
  • Can print on different apparel
  • Over 20 years of experience
  • Has flexible pickup and delivery

Cons

  • Not best for large bulk orders
  • Limited staff availability

Great value for money

Mortons T-Shirts has carved out a strong identity with over two decades of experience in the cartoon and novelty tee game.

They make the process pretty smooth from start to finish. You can show up with a concept or just an idea in your head, and they’ll help shape the design, source the shirt, and handle the printing.

We also love that there’s flexibility in what you can bring them. From Hi-Viz workwear and hoodies to personal garments, they’re open to printing on almost everything.

No fuss over quantities either—single orders, bulk jobs, or random group kits are all fair game. This is great for stag weekends, football teams, or those “inside joke” shirts you can’t get anywhere else.

On the downside, we did come across some feedback about slow response when concerns come up, which could be a pain if you’re on a tight schedule.

The silver lining? The turnaround speed is solid. The customers we chatted with said their complex orders arrived within a week, including busy times like bank holidays.

Pros

  • Has over 20 years of experience
  • Easy process
  • Works with any quantity
  • Flexible options

Cons

  • Closed on weekends
  • Can improve urgency of addressing concerns

Fantastic design and print service

“Fantastic design and print service with great quality shirt. I have a rough idea of what I wanted and the end result was brilliant.”

Carolyne Smith, Google Review

Impressed with the service

“Seriously impressed with the service I received. Sent on a design and with very little notice had t-shirts ready to pick up. They even adjusted my design to my preference when I thought I’d be asking too much in such a short time. The location just adds to the feeling that it’s a special secret.”
