- Founder pioneered Optimind method
- Has several certifications and affiliations
- Specialises in Neuro Linguistic Programming
- Offers a Slim Quest System for weight-loss
- Affordable online pricing
Cons
- Limited range of services
- Might be difficult to secure a booking
The Optimind Method Clinic was founded by Biodun Ogunyemi, and he also developed the Optimind method. This unique approach to therapy combines the best of advanced clinical hypnosis, psychology, neuroscience, NLP, and mindfulness.
The founder has several certifications which is quite impressive. He is a certified TFT practitioner, parts therapy facilitator, and EMDR Practitioner, and he also has advanced diplomas in Ericksonian Hypnosis, weight control, and gastric banding.
Not only does the hypnotherapist have these certifications, he is also a member of the Hypnotherapy Directory and also a validated member of the Society of NLP. These show how passionate he is about the field of hypnotherapy.
One of his specialisations is Neuro Linguistic Programming. This scientific study of human excellence is an excellent training method for achieving higher performance levels in sport for performers, coaches, managers, teams, and individuals.
The clinic also offers a Slim Quest system for weight-loss which can be helpful for some. For £97, you might be able to learn how you can reduce food cravings in order to lose weight.
It also has affordable prices for online hypnosis products which start at £15. These products can be downloaded and listened to, to help patients break their bad habits.
Compared to other clinics, however, the range of their hypnotherapy services is a bit limited. Also, due to their affordable pricing, it might be difficult to secure a booking.

Pros
- Trained as a Gold Standard Professional Therapist with the Essex Institute
- Well-known hypnotherapist that has several TV appearances
- Wide range of hypnotherapy treatments
- Uses two techniques: suggestion therapy and hypnoanalysis
- Free hypnosis relaxation recording after booking session
Cons
- Not for clients who want to be treated online
- A bit pricey
Clarity Hypnosis Glasgow Central is owned by Jennifer McLeod. WHat’s impressive about her is that she trained as a Gold Standard Professional Therapist with the Essex Institute.
She is quite knowledgeable in the field of hypnotherapy, and that’s why she is always being asked to discuss the benefits of hypnotherapy on TV. For instance, she appeared on STV Glasgow and also on the Wright Stuff.
Her clinic offers a wide range of hypnotherapy treatments. Some of these treatments are focused on fixing one’s confidence, stress and anxiety, fears and phobias, gambling, and even stop-smoking sessions.
It is interesting that she even offers self-hypnosis lessons. For £50 per session, patients can learn to hypnotise themselves which could be helpful in an emergency.
What’s unique about her is that she uses two techniques: suggestion therapy and hypnoanalysis. Suggestion therapy puts forward positive suggestions to one’s subconscious while hypnoanalysis is used to remove the root cause of the problem.
After booking a session, patients are given a free hypnosis relaxation recording. This freebie, which not all clinics provide, could help patients stay relaxed even at home.
Unfortunately, this clinic does not offer online hypnotherapy services, which other patients might prefer.
Patients also mentioned that their services can be a bit pricey. However, they also state that they love their sessions with Jennifer, and they do not have plans of changing therapists.

Having won the 2021 Social Care Awards for Best Anxiety HIT, ServiceSerenity By Kevin seems to be the go-to for hypnotherapy geared towards solving anxiety issues.
This is evident in their customised sessions such as Anxiety HIT Treatment and 1-1 Online Anxiety Reduction Therapy.
We like that their Online Anxiety Reduction Therapy session has several inclusions. This includes 4 40-minute Zoom sessions with Kevin Mullin, a personalised MP3 after the first session, and 1-on-1 online support with Kevin throughout the whole period.
If you are interested, you don’t have to sign up right away. They offer a free consultation in order for you to check if this treatment would be the right fit for you.
It is also nice of them to provide all NHS staff a 10% discount on all therapies. This is their way of thanking them for their efforts in the medical field.
Do note that if you are already seeing a therapist, you cannot be treated by them. They do not accept any clients who are under any other form of therapy.
Also, bookings are required to be paid in advance. Booking fees are paid via the WorldPay link which is sent to you upon booking.
Since Kevin Mullin is also a motivational speaker, his schedule is quite busy. Thus, you might not secure a booking right away.

Pros
- Has 14 years of experience in the field
- Has four clinical accreditations
- 2018 Marvel Health Award Winner
- Open all week
- Offers free consultation
- Provides Neuro Linguistic Programming
Cons
- Some services are a lot pricier
- Not for clients looking for work or sports performance improvement
Piece of Mind’s clinical hypnotherapist, Andy Griffiths, has 14 years of experience in the field. Thus, it’s no surprise that this clinic is one of the top hypnotherapy clinics in Glasgow.
He has four accreditations which is quite impressive. Some of these accreditations are with Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists, and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH) and General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
This is not the only thing that impressed us. He was also a 2018 Marvel Health Award Winner due to his contributions in the hypnotherapy field.
Unlike other clinics, this one is open all week. This is great news for people who are only available for weekend therapy.
Aside from basic hypnotherapy, Griffiths also offer Neuro Linguistic Programming. Some of the concerns he specialises in are weight loss, anxiety, depression, mood swings, phobias, bad habits, confidence, grief, eating disorders, and OCD.
This clinic also offers free consultation. This is good for those that are still on the fence in terms of this type of treatment.
Their prices, however, tend to be on the higher end. For instance, his “Stop Smoking” session costs £150 which is more expensive compared to other clinics.
That said, this clinic is not for clients looking for work or sports performance improvement. For those issues, you might need to go elsewhere such as the Optimind Method Clinic.

Pros
- Hypnotherapist has several certifications
- Trauma release expert with 8 years of experience
- Offers group sessions in seminar
- Has Skype hypnotherapy sessions
- Specialises in Virtual Gastric Band
Cons
- Requires advanced payment
- Reports of judgemental behaviour
Stait Of Mind is another solid clinic that offers hypnotherapy services in Glasgow. This clinic provides not just one-on-one sessions but also group sessions, workshops, and events.
The hypnotherapist, Sharon Tait, has several certifications. She has a diploma in Analytical Hypnotherapy & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and she is also a certified practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming.
On top of these certifications, she is also a trauma release expert with an impressive eight years of experience. This means she is quite experienced in helping people overcome anxiety, stress, and various mental health issues in a natural way.
Unlike other clinics, she offers group sessions and workshop seminars. Companies can hire her to boost their employees’ morale or families can ask her to help deepen their familial bonds.
She also offers Skype hypnotherapy sessions for those who prefer to be treated at home. An hour costs £60 while a group session costs £120.
She also specialises in Virtual Gastric Band. Virtual Gastric Band is a non-surgical technique which uses hypnosis to train your mind and body to crave less food.
Unfortunately, she requires an advance payment for all sessions.
Also, there were reports of judgemental behaviour from her former patients. They said she criticised their decision to wear masks, play video games, and even listen to rock music.
