Just under 30 minutes from Aberdeen, you’ll find the Pumpkin Pavilion at Udny Pumpkins, a charming family-run farm and pumpkin patch. With a wide selection of pumpkins perfect for carving, decorating, or adding to your fall décor, it’s a fantastic spot for the whole family.
For the kids, there are plenty of activities, from climbing hay bales to playing in the on-site playground. Plus, seasonal treats and drinks are available, making it even more festive.
Best of all, entrance is free, so no need for pre-booking if you’re just visiting. However, if you plan to pick pumpkins, be sure to book online. Prices for pumpkins range from £3 to £10 depending on their size and weight.

The Banchory Pumpkin Patch is a family-friendly event that takes place every fall at Drumshalloch Farm, located just 30 minutes from Aberdeen.
Entry is free for adults, while children’s tickets are £10 each. This includes access to the pumpkin patch, where they can pick a pumpkin of their choice, enjoy a goody bag, and take part in the fun Halloween trail.
In addition to the pumpkin patch, there are animal encounters and a scavenger hunt to keep little ones entertained. These activities are available at an extra cost, and parking is £5 per car.

Pumpkins are available in various sizes, with prices starting at £5 for smaller ones and going up to £12 for the largest. For something extra cute, “munchkin” pumpkins are priced at just £1.50 each.
