Pros
- Free consultation
- Convenient booking
- Pricing information available
- Open on Saturdays
Cons
- Expensive
After graduating from medical school and working 5 years in the NHS, Dr. Darren McKeown became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and has since started his own practice.
Dr. McKeown is well known in the cosmetic industry as an aesthetic practitioner because of his strong academic background, even publishing a number of medical literature.
He, along with other doctors on his team, performs Botox on a variety of treatment areas, which we appreciate. These include crow’s feet, frown lines, forehead, mouth corners, and neck.
They offer Botox treatments in 1 area for £225, 2 areas for £300, and 3 areas £350 if done by Dr. Darren McKeown. On the other hand, Dr. Rhona Cameron’s rates for 1 area is £200, 2 areas is £250, and 3 areas is £300.
In our opinion, these prices are a bit high and may not be suitable for everyone’s budget.
On the bright side, we like that they offer a free consultation to discuss clients’ goals in light of the procedure of interest, and hopefully calm some nerves. Clients can opt for an in-person or online consultation, too.
To add to customer convenience, they even have an app where patients can book or change appointment details at their fingertips. We think this definitely raises the bar for competitors when it comes to ensuring seamless booking.

Pros
- 40+ years of industry experience
- Convenient booking
- Pricing information available
- Open on Saturdays
- Offers pre-payment plans
- Disabled-accessible
- Reasonably-priced
Cons
- Few complaints about staff’s attitude and behaviour
With over 40 years of industry experience, Wasterwood Health is frequented by many locals and celebrities alike. They even have a page on their website featuring a number of their celebrity clientele.
Their Botox treatments include evening out wrinkles and fine lines such as crow’s feet, forehead lines, frown lines, undereye wrinkles, neck, and even hands.
We were quite impressed by the variety of treatment areas that they do. This makes us think that they’re an ace choice for a one-stop clinic.
In our opinion, their fees are reasonably-priced, with Botox on 1 area costing £120, 2 for £180, and 3 for £210. To boot, clients can even set up a monthly standing order to spread out the cost of their bill.
Clients can also enjoy the convenience of their easy appointment-setting feature on their website. On top of that, clients can seek professional advice from the comforts of their own homes through the clinic’s virtual consultation services.
To boot, their facilities are also disabled-accessible, which will definitely make things a lot easier for those with mobility issues. To add, they also have on-site parking.
On the flip side, we did hear quite a few complaints about staff’s rude attitude and negligent behaviour towards clients. One client expressed her disappointment when witnessing an unprofessional exchange between their staff and client, which is a shame.
While we do commend Westerwood Health for promptly responding to these complaints, we hope that their management addresses these concerns for good.

Pros
- Open daily
- Free consultation
- Pricing information available
- Has an app
- Convenient booking
- Reasonably-priced
Cons
- Few complaints about rude staff
Established nearly 20 years ago, Thérapie Clinic has since garnered a positive reputation as an affordable and effective aesthetic practice that’s open daily.
Popular treatment areas for men and women include frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead, and even a mini brow lift. Clients can easily book a free initial consultation via their website, which we think is a great way to find out if the clinic is a good fit for what they need.
As for the price of their Botox injections, we think their treatments are quite affordable. However, there is a price difference for men’s and women’s Botox injections.
For women, the cost of 1 area is £145, while 2 areas cost £255 and 3 areas cost £255 (yes, your 3rd area is free!).
For men, it’s slightly cheaper at only £129 for 1 area, £219 for 2 areas, and £249 for 3 areas.
We like that they reward their returning clients with up to 2% Thérapie credit after each purchase. They can even use these for other future treatments, too.
Aside from taking part in their loyalty programme via their app, we found it impressive that clients can also sort their bookings and build a custom course of treatments in the app. To us, this is next-level personalisation.
Unfortunately, we did encounter a number of negative sentiments from their past clients. Many complained about the poor customer service, in particular, rude staff.
We’re hoping management considers upskilling or retraining key staff to address these complaints.
4. Este Medical Group

Pros
- Multi-award-winning practice
- Free consultation
- Convenient booking
- Open on Saturdays
- Stellar customer service
Cons
- Pricing information not available
Este Medical Group’s most noteworthy feature is that it’s one of the most established practices on our list. Aside from bagging numerous awards, they have over 11 clinics worldwide and over 300 professional staff.
So, it’s no surprise that their clients expect nothing second to perfection here.
Their Botox injections can treat wrinkled brows, crow’s feet, frown lines, bobbly chins, necklace lines, and weak masseter muscles. We were truly impressed by this range of treatments, especially since some aren’t available at other clinics.
We like that they begin with Visia Digital Skin Analysis so they’re fully aware of any underlying skin conditions before they begin. To us, this shows that they’re extra careful with clients’ skin.
Apart from that, we think it’s great that consultations are done directly with their experts. Actually, we hear that even their receptionists show great knowledge in their procedures, which definitely gives us and clients a boost of confidence in their services.
It’s also worth highlighting that many clients raved about the attentiveness and care that their staff has shown. We think this is one of the reasons many continue to come back here – because who wouldn’t want A+ customer service, right?
We were just a wee bit disappointed that they didn’t have their pricing information up, which would have given newer clients a better idea of their price points.
5. Luxe Skin by Doctor Q
Website: https://www.luxeskin.co.uk/
Address: 227 Ingram St, Glasgow G1 1DA, United Kingdom

Operating Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 8 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 5 PM

Pros
- Convenient booking
- Offers phone consultations
- Open on Saturdays
- Convenient booking
- Treatments are performed only by Doctor Q
Cons
- Expensive
- Appointments are scheduled around Doctor Q’s availability
Doctor Q established Luxe Skin in 2012 and has since performed over 15,000 procedures. Aside from working at Accident & Emergency and general practitioner, he has since devoted most of his time as an aesthetic doctor.
Here, all aesthetic treatments are performed by none other than Doctor Q himself. We think that this ensures that all clients get the same high-quality experience.
However, we were a tad iffy about the efficiency of a one-man team since clients will have to schedule around his availability. This is also considering that he’s who clients speak to during their consultations.
Since we have yet to hear any complaints about this arrangement, we’d like to think things are going quite well.
We did find the prices of their Botox injections a tad pricey, though. Treatment in 1 area costs £175, while 2 areas cost £235 and 3 areas £295.
On the bright side, we did like how Doctor Q explains the intricacies of the treatment in great detail to his patients each time they return. This way, clients are consistently well aware of what’s happening and what to expect.
We also like that if clients aren’t ready for an in-person consultation, they can conveniently book a phone consultation to discuss treatment options and work towards their goals.
