White Eagle Repair was recommended by some of our friends, so we were eager to check out their services. From what we’ve seen, they’re very organised and easy to work with. Booking an appointment was quick and easy on their website, which is always a good sign.

In our case, the fix was straightforward, so it was completed on the same day. They were very efficient. However, some cases may require more intricate components, so only a quote will be provided. 

Based on our friends’ feedback, however, they’re still able to get the parts and repair the unit within a reasonable time. 

Something we appreciated was that the technician explained the problem clearly and even provided us with tips to prevent the same issue from happening again. 

We think it’s worth noting that the repair rates are fixed, which can be a bit steep for simple repairs. Still, given how efficient and stress-free the process is, it’s well worth the price.

I’ve used this service twice this week-once for a washing machine repair and once for an oven-and I couldn’t be more impressed.  We tried Lothian Domestics when we had a few broken appliances at our grandparents’ house, and we were impressed by their services. 

Their processes are systematic throughout – booking was easy, communication was constant and clear, and payment was a breeze. 

While they can repair a wide range of appliances and brands, what sets them apart is that they’re the only Samsung Authorised Service Centre in most of central Scotland. 

We spoke with some of their previous customers who are Samsung users, and most mentioned their efficiency, extensive knowledge, and that they carry a large stock of parts. This made the whole process very seamless for them. 

From what we’ve seen and based on the feedback of their regular clients, what’s consistent is their intentional customer service, clear pricing, and admirable work ethic. 

Something we noticed, however, is that they only have limited appointment slots available on their website, though this may be due to their popularity. Also, they cannot accommodate emergency bookings, so that’s something to keep in mind.

Hastie Appliance Repairs has been around for over 16 years and has built solid street cred for its fast response times and reasonable pricing. 

One of our friends had spoken highly of them after hiring them a few times for minor repairs, so we tried them out when our aunt complained about a broken refrigerator.  

From experience, we appreciated their stellar customer service the most. Their staff is polite, efficient, and helpful. We were able to schedule an appointment promptly, and they were able to identify potential action plans based solely on our phone conversation. 

During the service call, we appreciated that the technician arrived prepared with various parts for the repair. This made the visit efficient, and the repair was completed faster than we thought. We noticed that they even cleaned the work area after—a big plus in our books!

If there’s one thing we can nitpick, it’s that their list of services is limited to major appliances and select brands. So if you’re looking for specialised services, it might be best to check out the other companies on this list instead.

City Domestics is not as large compared to other companies on this list, as it’s a family-run business. However, they’re still worth a mention because of their reliable track record and honest work. A lot of their customers are loyal regulars, and it’s not hard to see why. 

We observed them in action when they repaired our office dishwasher, and we found them to be efficient, polite, and easy to talk to. They were able to diagnose and resolve the problem promptly.  

On the downside, they only repair a limited range of appliances. They specialise in washing machines, dryers, cookers, ovens, and dishwashers. 

On the bright side, they’re very thorough, and the whole process was organised, up to the payment. Speaking of payment, the prices are also affordable, since they don’t charge a call-out fee. Overall, we find them to be a great find. 

They clearly have a lot of expertise

Genuinely great service from a father and son who obviously really care about making sure that they do the best possible job for you. Phoned to see if they could look at my washing machine that had gone south, and they came within 24 hours – identified the problem quickly and resolved it. They clearly have a lot of expertise (and took the time to explain some technical aspects of the machine) and I won’t hesitate to make use of their services again in the future – delighted that I found them, highly recommended!

Where to start. Dan and his dad are absolutely amazing! From start to finish! They have went WAY above and beyond what was expected of them to help with all 3 large appliances that broke all at once! Based on their feedback, the technicians and in-house admin staff are friendly, organised, and give regular updates. While the prices are on the premium side, the seamless process makes the investment worthwhile. 

For starters, they cater to a wide range of appliances of different makes and kinds. Plus, they don’t just repair appliances; they can also supply new units when needed. 

With this, we think Trinity Domestics is a solid option for those looking for a one-stop shop for all sorts of appliance needs – especially handy for letting agents!

We just wish that their website were updated so it’s easier to browse through their services. It’s a good thing they’re responsive to calls, and they can walk you through their services over the phone.

It’s great to see a company happy to go a bit further to help customers

Our 20 year old cooker developed a problem with the oven fan and we feared the worst when Trinity Domestics told us the motor was no longer available. So we were delighted when they phoned a few days later to say they’d managed to source one and Ryan came round the next day to fit it. Called out Trinity Domestics to diagnose and repair a fault with my washing machine. The engineer who came out was very pleasant and professional and managed to fix my machine.
