cairngorms-national-park-map

Cairngorms National Park is nestled in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, and it’s absolutely massive, covering parts of Aberdeenshire, Moray, Highland, Angus, and Perth and Kinross.

The park stretches from just south of Inverness down to Ballater on the eastern side and over to the quaint little town of Blair Atholl.

How to Get to Cairngorms National Park

By train: Aviemore is your best bet, with regular services coming in from the likes of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Inverness. From there, buses and local taxis can help you explore further.

By car: Just take the A9 from Inverness or Perth, and you’ll be there in no time. For a more scenic route, you might want to try the A93, especially if you’re coming from Aberdeen.
